Hi Trent:
First 2 questions. What sort of video are you trying to encode and how long did it take to encode the file?

Also could you please do the following to help me try and find whats wrong:
  • Open PSPvideo9
  • click 'setup' on the left hand side
  • Click the 'console' tab
  • Check the box that says 'Enable Debug Console'
  • Try the encode again
  • Once its done, go back to that screen (setup/console) and copy all the text, then paste it in a post here for me to check out

One other thing, did you remember to set the MY PC section to 'AVC Folder'?

Success!!!!

I don't know why, but for some wierd-strange-sick and maybe scary reason it started to transscode the damn videos like if nothing would have happened!!

I think my computer hates me, I know it for sure!
Thanks for the advices Bah, but they`re no longer requested

If it says no PSP found even though you had your PSP connected to your PC and it was in USB mode, then you just need to set it manually. Steph has already answered this question in one of the first replies but here is a more step by step answer.

Open PSPVideo9, click 'setup' on the menu down the left, then for the setting 'PSP Drive' you will see a dropdown box and a button labeled 'Auto Find'.

Click that button and another window will pop up, if it says PSP found you're done. Click the 'Done' button on that window then the 'Save' button on the setup screen.

If it still says not found, just go to 'my computer' in windows and see what drive letter your PC has assigned to the PSP. It will be something like 'Removable Drive (E:)' or 'Removable Drive (F:)'.

So say your PSP is drive E: then go back to PSPVideo9 and click the dropdown box to the left of the 'auto find' button (on the 'setup' page).
Just select the option that starts with E: (E:\MP_ROOT\100MNV01) and click the big 'Save' button in the bottom right of the screen.

If you have any other probs let me know, just post the step from the guide that you dont understand. Its all step by step.
