New To Psp Stuff...

hey new to the whole PSP scene and majorly confused with all the s*** to download etc etc but i just downloaded a game but when i go to play it the following message pops up

"to use this content you must activate the system"

any help would be greatfull

Welcome to the forum. However, could I just ask if you would refrain from swearing on the forums, as kids can easily access the site and it is not the best influence.

I think the problem might be that your PSP is running at Firmware above 1.50. You will need to use a downgrading software package to do this for you. But be aware that this may cause damage to your PSP.

What PSP firmware do you have? Check under system settings, you may be able to downgrade..

im using V 3.10

i do have need for speed carbon with what it says is PSP Update version 2.80

Sorry there is no downgrade for 3.10 yet. DON'T Update to 3.11. Wait until there is a downgrader for v3.10, maybe in the next few months. \

That is the update on your UMD disc, it's no good. Even if you try to start it you won't be able to run it as your already running a higher firmware...
