EDIT: 3.03 is now downgradable!

Sorry man, firmware 3.03 has no homebrew (unofficial software) support whatsoever.

2.80 is currently the highest firmware hackers have been able to get homebrew working on at this time.

Nope

The only somewhat risky part is downgrading your firmware, and even then if you read up on the program and follow all instructions you will be fine.

Homebrew its self does not harm your PSP, its preping your PSP for homebrew use, IE Downgrading your PSP

Well I'm on Firmware 3.03 at the moment, and I've read plenty of talk to understand I won't be able to downgrade. But I don't think I really mind.
It would probably begin to get a little too complex for me at that point! Lol.

It's not really that hard, there are some good guides and tutorials out there that are easy to follow and are clear.

I have a few downgrading tutorials out, but currently the highest firmware you can downgrade is 2.80.

Maybe you should hold out updating your PSP until a downgrader is released for 3.03, then you can expirience the world of homebrew!
