Yeah quite right.

If it has no protection, (WEP) then u SHOULD be able to scan and access no problem. Tho from my experience if it is a 128bit WEP key then it wont work with psp. 68bit no probs.
might be wrong but 128bit dont work with my psp.

Well, it says its conecting then it says theres not enogh time to get IP address.

Just a tip, it is illegal to connect to someone else wireless connection without their permission. So, if you do, don't get caught.
