2.81 - 3.03 Upgrading

My brother wants to download stuff to his PSP, he has 2.81 and wants 1.50, being as though i'm the tech of the family i said i'd do it for him.

I've done my home work and i understand that it needs to be upgraded to 3.03 before being downgraded, the problem i have is that firstly, in the PSP folder, there are only PHOTO, SAVE DATA and SYSTEM folders (no GAME/UPDATE). I tried copying the EBOOT file to SAVE DATA but it always comes up as CORRUPT DATA (even though the PSP battery is over 90%).

Any help would be greatfully recieved, thanks all.

Try backing up all of your files then format the whole memory stick on your PSP. DON'T FORGET TO BACK UP YOUR FILES
