Help on Upgrading

I'm a newbie here and I have a psp with the firmware 1.5 and I use devhook 0.51 , but I need help to play more games such as bleach heat the soul four I need firmware 3.40 and I dont have that so can anyone suggests something for me to do please because I want to play this game and other soon to come

P.S: How will I play games if i have version 3.40 like will I still need devhook or will I have to download something else

No, you can keep all of the pros that 1.5 has to offer and upgrade to a firmware called 3.40 oe-a i think, just make sure its the dark_alex version
