Question Playing UMD's on 1.5 PSP

Is there anyway to play a new umd on my 1.5 psp????

I don't think so. There's a version tricker that'll allow you play up to version 2.0 while still keeping your PSP at 1.5, but i'm not sure if there's anything that goes above that.

Is talk of devhook not allowed on these forums?
It emulates any firmware up to 2.71 (on a fw 1.5 psp) and allows every game UMD prior to gta: vice city stories (and a few newer ones) to run.

You can get a simple installer for the app Here.
