ok now your going to laugh when you read this question. But im still new to all of this so please dont laugh to hard ok. . Now what is the advantage of having firmware or downgrader and all this other stuff i am reading on here? see now dont laugh ok. and what do i need to download so i can be up to date on all this stuff plz.

No one's going to laugh, I didn't know about the advantages of lower firmwares until it was too late either, but having lower firmwares allow you to play home brew games like tetris and play emulators like the Super Nintendo emulator and you can load downloaded games with lower level firmware. Other then that you just don't get to do what the updates allow you to do.

LOL oh ok. Cool thanks for the info. But let me make sure i get this right...or ask actually. What kind of games would i get ot play from the super nintendo? and if i get the downgrader can i move it back up to where it was or am i stuck like that?

You can move it back up to where it is but at the moment there is no downgrader for version 2.82 so your stuck there anyways for a little while until someone develops a downgrader. As for SNES games you could play pretty much any game which you download off the web known as a rom so you would need to download super Nintendo roms to be able to play the super nintendo.
