Any PS2 RPG's you'd recommend?

I should be getting a PS2 in the next couple of days, and am looking to get a few games for it. So far i've got Dark Cloud and Dark Chronicle, and i'm ordering Dragon Quest VIII. I'm going to get an action replay disc so that i can get Tales of Legendia. Are there any others you'd suggest?

Yeah, i like the films, but not too sure on the games. I'll give it a try though, thanks.


EDIT: My PS2 came today... along with a load of promo discs!

I still bought Dragon Quest though, because i promised myself i'd get it once i got a new PS2, but i think i've got plenty to play right now.

I'm not so sure on getting that disc though (found out it's called swap magic). I saw it in action and i'm a little worried about damaging my PS2. But it's cheap, and there doesn't seem to be any sign of a release date for Tales of Legendia so i might try it.

Do you like GTA? you probably do but i've not played to many RPG's for playstation.

I'm not a huge fan of GTA: i like all the freedom you have in the games, but i'm not so sure on other parts. But i've only played some of LCS for PSP so i can't really form a proper opinion of the GTA series.

I just noticed the US have got Tales of the Abyss now. It's looking less likely that Tales of Legendia will be released here. Still, i'm going to go ask someone at Namco just to make sure.

Yeah, Kingdom Hearts looks great. I'm trying to get the first one but it seems to be going for around £30 pre-owned and in the original cover (i don't like platinum covers at all ). It's a bit of a rip-off, but it seems to be getting quite rare now, so here's hoping i win an auction for a copy of it later.

The internet crashed 2 mins before the end of the bid, so i lost out on a decent copy.

I did just win a copy of Space Channel 5 Part 2 though: it was never released but there's a few PAL copies around on eBay. Finding a Panasonic Q console's been easier to find than this game! The bid was on £20 for ages then in the last 10 mins people tried to outbid me. N00bs. But they did raise it to £40. I guess it's worth it: i have been looking for it for over 2 years now.
