Here's my new phone (finally got it):

Thats a sweet lookin phone dude, how much did you pay for that and whats the spec for it..? I would think it would be hard to type though

Okay, now you'll just think I'm mad!

It's a cell phone by Bang & Olufsen called the Serene and probably everything about it is different to any other cell phone there is. To those of you who don't know B&O, they are design and quality perfectionists, but this comes at a very taxing price usually - I bought this phone for £845 ($1500) at my local Knightsbridge B&O dealer. Now you're probably going to ask "why?" or "does it have a teleport transporter built in?" The answer is no it doesn't and has very little. The very famous B&O designer of this phone; David Lewis claimed while designing this phone his aim was to make simplicity its beauty.
And so he has! The camera is a 0.3 Megapixel, no video function, no MP3, no 3G and not even your own choice of ringtones - they give you a list of 10 to choose from.
So yes, you think I'm really nuts now, but hear me out. This phone is stunning in design, the phone is held as shown in the photo I posted previously with the screen at the bottom and circular keypad at the top. This has proven to be very comfortable, unlike the cramped layout of keypads on most other cell phones. Then the quality is outstanding, its case is made of metal, the loud speaker is truly better than any other cell phone / landline phone (you will only notice the difference if you try it out sometime). It also integrates fully with the B&O sound systems, TVs and cordless phones in my home too. If my cell starts ringing at home, it automatically fades the sound away of any playing stereo or TV. The cordless phones all start ringing too, but with a different ringtone than usual, to alert me it's an incoming call to my cell phone. Probably best for me is that it sinks with my Outlook. What else? I didn't mention it opens and closes itself with its own motor, just a typical stunning addition by B&O.

Take a look at this video:

Mine was a gift.. I didn't pick it out. I hated the look and everything about the Chocolate until I had it for a month I got use to it... I don't like the screen being on the outside and having no protection. I'm more of a person who needs a strong phone that can take some abuse... I work on cars, do landscaping, and ride bmx so my phone is always being drop, getting dirty, or slid across the ground from accidently kicking when i drop it... lol.. My LG has a couple of scratches and a few dents but its held up to more abuse then i thought it would. I love the MP3 feature, downloadable videos, pitures, camcorder, and the GPS come in handy a lot... The LG wouldn't be my first pick mainly cause of it being a slide phone, no screen protection, costing too much for not being high quality, and the battery sucks... lol but its an okay phone... more of a teenage girl phone. but hey it was a gift and I'm thankful for it...

I have never paid for a cell phone in my life... Mine have always been gifts from friends or family. This has by far been the most exspensive phone I have ever had.

Oh and by the way... the B&O phone is insane... I don't like the look of it and if I was to pay $1500 for a phone I would want it to do a little more but the feature were it intergrates with everything is insane and it just screams high quality from the way it looks...
