Do you watch movies on your PSP?

I have a 1 hour train journey to work every day, so I am always watching movies on my PSP. But do you watch movies on your PSP ??

I still watch some films, like Hitch and The Incredibles. And i enjoy watching Lee Evan's XL Tour on UMD, but i can't watch it on the to work because people would stare if i randomly started laughing on the bus.

And i just bought Equilibrium yesterday, £4.98 - bargain!

I've been wanting to get it on UMD for some time, and have been considering getting it off Play.com for £9.99. But i was in GAME on Saturday and they had it for £4.98, and decided to get it once i saw the one behind it said £6.98.

But yeah, love the film: Christian Bale's awesome, and the story's great too.

The forum's new so there's only a few members right now.

And wrong forum mate, your posts should go in with the PSP games, not films.

I have Hitch and Spiderman UMDs. Both are great and I still can't get over the display (proves I've only had my PSP for a week!). I hope Cars comes out on UMD!
Does anyone know if you can burn DVDs onto your memory card somehow?
If not, then want type of file do videos need to be to play on the PSP?

Yeah u can, Firstly if u want use a DVD u already own then use this.
DVD Shrink. Download DVD Shrink 3.2.0.15 - A FREE software to backup DVD disks ! DVD Shrink - Softpedia
Which will back up ur dvd to hard disk and split it into VOB files.
Then u can find which file the full movie is in the backup folder and convert and move to your PSP using this.
PSP VIDEO 9 ( click full install 4.40mb )
PSP Video 9

Tinker with settings, but 384kb/sec and 15fp sec conversions should end up around 300mb or so. depends. That quality is good.
Other threads on how to do this. is very simple tho, need a large memory stick of course.
Hope that helped.

Yeah, the UMD movies are great quality, tho myself never actually viewd a proper UMD movies as cant buy UK ones only seen few clips on the DEMO UMD u get with it. not bothered mind u as probably wouldnt buy many UMD's.
Best to just convet DVD's as required. They stay on PSP video 9 for transfer wheneva u like. Even after deleting from psp. Can still get great quality. Can even convert selceted sections of a dvd if u split VOB files during DVD shrink backup.
So much u can do with PSP really. Wonderfull Machine.

U could even say...
Piece of Sony Perfection.

I watch movies, just because you can anywhere anytime, I don't buy umd though I convert my dvd's, I also watch TV shows that I have missed as well.
If they would make the UMD cheaper then I would buy them but I wont pay for a dvd and then buy a umd at a not so cheap price...
