DVD to PSP file size?

Just got a PSP for Christmas. When ripping a DVD to the PSP I get a mp4 movie anywhere between 400mb and 500mb depending on the movie with the default options selected. Is there a way to get the file size down and still get a good video quality? Maybe different software or selecting lower settings. I am using DVDFab Platinum for the conversion. What is everybody else using and your average file size? thanks

400-500mb is a good size for a full length movie.
I converted a 20 minute episode of my name is earl yesterday and it came out at 53MB. So for a 2 hour movie it would be around 320MB.

I use PSPVideo9, you can use the profiles I have posted HERE if you want to give it a try. You can lower the output files size further (at the expense of quality) by increasing the number for the 'QSCALE' setting (explained in that post I just linked to).

Candy: Are you employed by ImTOO Software Studio or do you just happen to post like a shill?

Please quit plugging commercial software in a ad-like way.
