can i downgrade my psp?? to v 1.5

i did try but my psp said "you have version 2.80 so go away coz you dont need to"..well sort of
can i tell it to bog off and do it anyway????
i would like to run the homebrew games and can't on v2.80..
any suggestions as to how i overwrite the higher v2.8???

i now have a version 1.50
now i am looking for the thread on how to upgrade to dark mans 3.03???ting..
1 final question..will darkalex's 3.03 run all the stuff the 1.50 and the 2.80 will run..is the best thing to run??

Update to custom firmware 3.10 OE-A Click here to download

Read the readme.txt in that download and update to 3.10 OE-A.

Once your at 3.10 OE-A, reformat your memory stick and put files into:
Homebrew X:\PSP\GAME150
ISO and CSO X:\ISO

(X is the letter of your PSP drive)

Download homebrew from: PSP Hacks · Hacks, Cracks, Mods, Homebrew, Utilities · Hack Sony Play Station Portable

the custom firmware has homebrew features of 1.50 and sony features of 3.10

evolve.. thanks for your help..i have now done the upgrade to 3.1...whatever type thing..easy as pie..not sure what the other guy keeps posting complete bollocks for though????? sad? EITHER TRY TO HELP OR DON'T BOTHER...

If you didn't notice, D_A has an update from 3.10 OE-A to 3.10 OE-A'. Just a couple minor fixes that probably don't affect many people, but it always pays to be up to date.

My PSP tends to find itself being used about like this:
10% UMDs (Twisted Metal at the moment)
30% Genesis Games via DGen 1.70 (mix of games... S&K-S3, EWJ, a few others)
60% Popstation (Tomba! right now)

Put the 310_a2update folder into X:\PSP\GAME150
Run if from your PSP from Game --> Memory stick
