Infrared Port: Is there any way to use it???

Hello everyone!! Since the first day I got my PSP out of the box and I started to look at it upside-down for the excitement of having my first PSP ever, (Don't lie! You did that too!) I don't know if you guys realized that the PSP has a port that doesn't specify it's function even in the intruction booklet, I don't know if the guys from Sony forgot to specify this port, I trust you all have seen it, of course I'm talking of the Infrared-Port, when I first saw it, I was fully expectative to the functions that this little port could've done, but in my exhaustive navigating hours in the Internet, I still can't found any use for this Port.
I invite you to post anything about this little port, uses, or anything that comes in handy or if you know any use for it, please post-it, 'cause at the time, I still can't find anything...
Need any help finding this little port dude?? I've attached a pic, so you can find it more quickly, although, I guess there's no need of pics... or is it???

Infrared Port

Quick answer: there's no official use for it yet, but hackers found a use for it, as a remote.

Hope that helps.

Actually, the IR port is good for IR keyboards. I've got this one, and it'll be supported by PSP uClinux, and the next update to Basilisk.
