Help!!! Something's wrong with my videos.

Ok, when I connect my PSP to my computer, the folders from the PSP comes up on my screen, all except the "Video" folder. What do I do?

Are you on firmware 2.80 or above?
If so, and there isnt a 'video' directory located on the root of your memory stick (the directory that is displayed when you plug in your psp), just create one.

Older firmwares required the video files to be placed inside a different directory.

So just create the folder <psp's drive letter>:\VIDEO and put all your vids in that.

NotoriousJatt, in firmware 2.71 and lower you had to place videos in ..\MP_ROOT\100ANV01 for avc video and ..\MP_ROOT\100MNV01 for mp4-SP and follow sonys crazy archaic naming structure.

As of 2.80 (pretty sure it was 2.8, could have been 2.81) all video files can be placed in a folder named 'VIDEO' on the root of the memory stick, and can be named as you wish.

A Guide to the official features introduced in some of the older firmware updates I found while looking around the site.
