Read disc error

hi everyone, I'm new here,..I need all the help or advice from anyone out there,..my problem's probably common, I tried several games on my kid's psp and kept getting the same message, "unable to read disc", I'm also hearing grinding, clicking sounds. what can be causing this and is there any solutions? thanks everyone!

was this the first time its happend?

is the psp new?

was the psp damaged in anyway?

yes, it's the first time this happened, it is a used system, and no one's fess'n up to any kind of damage happening. thanks!

i think the discs are the problom....with some of my games ,i noticed the cd was kinda popping out of the ring that holds it together...all i id was pop it back in and my game worked fine.

thanks, INU999, but I tried about 7 discs., still that clicking sound,.. any more ideas from anyone? thanks!!
