New psp

I need someones opinion. I had a big crack near the top of my psp faceplate. As the days and weeks went on I noticed the crack was getting longer and it was starting to interfere my gameplay. I decided to order another faceplate. I'm not a mechanical person so I asked my dad who is prettey good with fixing electronical things; help me with change my faceplate. I went on Youtube for a video that showed how to replace the faceplate. When we had taken the faceplate off, the inside of the plate had lights and we had to break them off. Also the joystick had that rubber gasket thing on. Anyway, my dad put the lights in the new faceplate except for one and he left out that rubber thing on the joystick. So now I sort of feel like I have a piece of crap machine. Everything still works the same - I'm just missing pieces. I sort of want to get a new one. What would you do?

You need that rubber gasket for the analog stick or it won't work right. That's the #1 complaint against PSP repair shops - sometimes the tech forgets to put that back in. It's even worse because then you don't even have the part anymore - you ahve to send it back AGAIN for them to fix it right.

As to what you should do - at least make him put the gasket back in. Other than that, you got what you paid for.
