Finally I am now running 3.40 0E-A - I found a great tutorial here Upgrading your PSP - The only thing I had to do that was different on the upgrade was to copy my data to psp/game150 NOT psp/game apart from that the whole process took 5 min - I upgraded three psp's! Thanks for all the help
