also i have a ta-082 board is there anyway i can play iso games i tried using devhook_4_2 but i was not succesful in running iso games

It depends on the region though, so if you have a UK PSP, you'll need a UK update; Japanese update need for Japanese PSP's, and so on. Some people do use US updates for their UK PSP's but apparently you're running the risk of messing up your PSP by doing so.
