Are Shooting Games hard?

I just baught a PSP and I was just wondering if shooting games are hard cause it seems the would be cause the only joystick is on the same side as the directonal pad? what do you use to aim and walk?

yeah ur right, How would that work?
PSP not ideal for them kinda games. Should be good when Call of Duty comes out though. Cant remember what SOCOM on psp was like to move around as only played it for half an hour. Wasnt good enough to keep me intested obviously. lol

it takes a little while to adjust from socom3 on the ps2, to socom ftb on the psp, to move on socom ftb you use the thumb pad for general movement; if you press right on the directional pad it goes into free looking mode where you can look in all directions, up/down etc, and then to move again in free looking mode you have to hold down L1 at the same time, can get a bit tricky when your suddenenly confronted by hoards of terrorists and a firefight ensues, fingers, thumbs all over the place man!!

It depends on the game
I played metal of honor on psp,
it was easy to play once you get used to the game controls.
