Well, yes, i guess there is that aspect. Some folks just aren't the reading sort, even when it's mostly pcitures.
I've always loved reading... nothing better on a rainy day than drinking hot apple cider and reading a thick tome.
If you don't like reading, but want a GREAT manga mostly for the artwork, and is also family friendly, you might try Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou. This is an absolutely wonderful manga that can be enjoyed by anyone (unless you require lots of blood and guts in you manga
).
