Generally, PSPVideo9 simply skips transcoding when there's an error... that or crash. Make sure everything is correct, especially paths in the avs file. You can tell an avs file is correct by playing it in Media Player Classic. If it's fine, it'll play like a normal AVI. If it's got a problem, MPC will tell you the problem.
