Firstly, in order to do this, one must have established an internet connection. If you haven't done this, check other threads in this disgussion and the PSP guides disgussion, in order to make web pages available offline, you must have been online first.
1. Go to a webpage which has a link to the site/webpage you wish to make available offline.
2. Using the analog nibb, hover your mouse over the link that goes to the desired site or webpage and press triangle to go to the "file" icon
3. Select "Save Link Target", and save it wherever on your psp, but be sure to WRITE DOWN YOUR FILE DESTINATION. Otherwise you will have a file unrecognised by the firmware, sitting on your memory stick and you'll only be able to delete the file by attaching the psp to your computer and deleting it in window's explorer or whatever.
4. In the adress bar type the following
File:/"the file destination you wrote down"
5. The webpage will load as if you were connected to the internet. (you can turn off the wifi switch if you wish to proove to yourself that this wroks)
6. save it as one of your bookmarks, and viola your page is now available offline.
note: This concept may work with viewing photos, and videos although i have not figured out how to get this to work yet (if it does)
This has been useful for using the psp as a calculator with the javascript scientific calculator i found at
ostermiller.org
please opst any comments, questions, suggestions on other uses for this comcept (good websites to bookmark ect...)
