| Recovery mode is not built in the PSP when you buy it with Sony's firmware.
You can only have it when you flash Dark_AleX's custom firmware (3.10 OE).
I'm sorry to say there is no way you can un-brick your 2.81 TA-082 PSP. How did you brick it? Try turning it on and pressing the screen brightness button.
